Mary is the town librarian in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature and she is quite shy although not quite as shy as she was in the game Harvest Moon 64. Since she moved to the town when she was younger she somewhat feels like she doesn’t fit in. She also spends a lot of time reading and studying.
